This dashboard shows key stats from the previous month that we tend to use most often. Sometimes a week feels too short, especially for the lifecycle of an article or to identify real trends in the data.

Complete with goal completion stats, the template highlights the percent change from the previous four weeks to give you clear insight into your site’s performance. Plus, most of the tables show heatmaps or comparisons which help you get even more narrow in your insights.

With 5 pages of detail, the template takes you through your sessions, acquisition channels popular pages, an in-depth look at acquisition, and finally, a 12-month view of your data to see long-term performance.

It’s an easy template to connect to and relies solely on Google Analytics. We chose this as one of the best dashboards of 2021 for its simple display.

We like this template because it allows ecommerce businesses to get a strong sense of their customer’s journey at a glance.

We also like the design element of this dashboard and its incorporation of bold display choices. What really stands out here is the unique graphical representation which displays an easy to follow path for users of all backgrounds and levels of expertise to use confidently. The dashboard is relatively plain and utilizes juxtaposed dark greys and bright colors to help easily identify the average user’s journey – complete with page usage, geographic location, device used and source.

The key to being able to use this tool for decision making is the ability to intuitively understand the graphics and template layout. This helps in the analysis of SEO intents, conversion rates, traffic sources, and revenue.

This template focuses on helping you take action and make decisions about campaigns and adgroups, which is why we like it. The clean design makes for easy analysis. It empowers the user to drill down on whatever aspect of their ad campaign they want to. You can focus on questions like what’s costing you the most or where do you need to reallocate your budget?

The Google Ad Report Funnel allows you to home in on four main areas per ad-set: visibility, acquisition, conversion and cost.

Another reason why this template is among the better ones out there is that it functions with equal friendliness on both desktops and mobiles, as opposed to most others which function from mobile-related restrictions. This means you enjoy greater versatility and accessibility no matter where you are.

We chose this dashboard as one of the best of the year for its unique presentation and the easy accessibility of the data. The strength of this dashboard lies in its display. With a modern, full screen view, the template navigates like its own mini website and makes you feel like you’re at the helm of a new-age app. It’s perfect for a wall monitor, touch screen display, or presentation.

The layout helps you read the data clearly, and if you share the dashboard with others like an agency partner or a project stakeholder, they’ll find it easy to navigate.

Besides just a great design, it’s also robust in the data it contains. You’ll be shocked at how much data it packs in. You’ll find website, ecommerce, ad, search, YouTube, goal completion data and more within the report.

Since it has so much available, you’ll need to connect multiple data sources. However, it utilizes entirely free Google connectors, so it won’t cost you any extra to use.

Besides the eye-popping colors, this template’s strength lies in its simplicity. You won’t find a ton of charts here, but those that do appear are the most critical. The first half of the report pulls data from Google Analytics, and the second half, which appears just below on the same page, pulls from Search Console.

Seeing the data side by side in this dashboard makes intuitive sense. You first look at page data – how many people are coming to your site and to which pages? And once you scroll down, you see the queries, impressions, and clicks behind your organic traffic.

We chose this template for our best of 2021 because its perfect for those just starting to dip their toes into SEO. It forgoes data about rank and historical comparisons to focus on the here and now. And with date filters, you’re able to only focus on the time frame you care about most.

We like this dashboard because of the ease of use and consolidation of unique and vital data provided by SEMRush into a single dashboard.

This dashboard is ideal for any consultant or agency who uses SEMRush as part of their tool set and are looking for a way to share data with third parties such as clients or internally without giving away your login details.

Aside from behaviors, the template also highlights ecommerce conversions, starting with a session and going all the way down to a transaction. You can also pinpoint the exact dollar value of a certain demographic.

This dashboard caught our eye because it’s so fun to use. You’ll find yourself playing with this template just to see what new insights it can uncover.

The dashboard is easy to understand and allows you to view each specific blog article to review how many reads it’s getting, how many contacts it’s providing, how many leads are being generated, how many opportunities are being created and how many customers are being gained.

Getting this Google Data Studio template set up is simple and can help you focus on the key metrics you want be it subscribers, submission, leads or page views.

We’ve given this template 4 stars however based on its narrow content marketing focus.

This dashboard shows the main items that a content marketer or editor would like to see to refine their strategy for increasing traffic. It shows the overall blog performance, blog traffic trend, traffic by source, by geographic location, age range, gender, referrer, and category.

We like this dashboard’s ability to use filters to drill down and provide insight. It can segment in numerous ways: Gender and age filters, as well as the date picker, are especially useful.

This dashboard is supposed to be set up to only focus on the blog section of your site. It has a custom filter where you can add the path that all your blogs follow. For example, if your posts always start with “/blog” or “/research” or “/insights”, you can add this to the filter and it will only analyze those pages.  This makes it incredibly useful for deep analysis into content ignoring other site issues.

This dashboard is good for people and businesses that run content-heavy sites, blogs, and news sites. If your site has a lot of content and uses content marketing, this dashboard is for you.

It’s rare to have a dashboard that combines data from multiple sources. Perhaps at most, a template might pull in Google Ads and Google Analytics or Search Console data. But then again, all of those come from the Google Marketing Suite.

This template takes things to the next level by linking to ad data from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. The result is a single, consolidated view of all your paid digital advertising.

Supermetrics created the template and it’s mostly useful to paid Supermetrics users who have purchased a bundle of data connectors. Each connector needs to be turned on and connect to the dashboard. Don’t let the setup deter you. Once you get the connectors set up (and it isn’t hard), you’ll have a live, fully comprehensive look at your paid marketing efforts. Use this link to get started on Supermetrics. And if you need more info about paid data connectors, check out this informative blog post

This dashboard shows consolidated PPC advertising data using the Supermetrics connectors for Facebook Ads and Bing Ads. The first page shows the combined performance of all the platforms. The remaining 3 pages show Facebook, Google, and Bing Ads data respectively.

This dashboard is a Swiss army knife of digital ads data. However, it is not very well designed. The template does not have a date picker, which means you are stuck with the parameters the template designer used, or you have to add the date picker yourself and make sure that all the charts respond to it.

This dashboard is on the best dashboards list because of its practicality. Rather than have one template for each ad platform, this template has all the major ad platforms on a single dashboard and also combines data from all the platforms on the first page.

If you advertise on multiple platforms then his dashboard can help you reduce browser clutter by wrapping performance data for all the ad platforms in a single template.

In addition to the metrics on the template, the dashboard has placeholders for text so you can make notes about campaigns, strategy, and upcoming needs. There are also places for logos and other company identifiers to personalize the report.

The filters at the top of the template make it easy to navigate and isolate data specific to campaign types, campaigns, devices, and time frames.

Other pages on the template include time comparisons, campaigns and keywords, geographies and demographics, landing pages, and an analytics overview from data you’d find in Google Analytics.

What data can you pull from your Google Business Listing? A lot, actually. Website clicks, phone calls, # of people clicking for directions, map views, and more. The template then displays this data alongside Google Analytics and Search Console data to give you a holistic picture of your online presence, at least as it pertains to Google products.

As one of the only Google My Business Dashboards available online, it definitely makes a strong case for one of the best dashboards of 2021.

This dashboard shows the distribution of household income in the US by the state in 2016. The income is divided into buckets or ranges and shown as bars on the column chart. The higher the number of people in an income bucket, the darker and taller the column is, and vice versa.

We like this dashboard because it makes it easy to see the data. The graphs are arranged to form the map of the United States, so if you are familiar with the location of US states, finding data that interests you is effortless.

This dashboard could be great for its reusability. You don’t have to use it only to visualize household income. You can use it to show anything that you’d like to visualize across US states.

This dashboard is good for any business/individual that wants to show segmented data across all US states. All you have to do is make sure that each row of data is segmented by state, and the metrics you want to show are in buckets.

This dashboard shows the healthcare options that the US government’s federal employees have in 2020. The template also has links to relevant information, which the user can follow to learn more or verify the facts.

We love this dashboard because it shows data for the millions of federal employees on a single page. The color palette is small and kept that way to ensure that the whole dashboard maintains visual cohesion.

This dashboard is on our list because it shows that data can and should be beautiful. Yes, it is showing data that involves millions of American workers, but it simplifies that data to such an extent that you don’t have to be a policy expert to understand what is going on.

This dashboard is good for visualizing any enrollment program with the attached costs (financial or otherwise). To use this template, all you have to do is to alter the text and the links to reflect the data that you are showcasing.
